Hands covered in ashes
Your burning wings smell
Estranged and peaceful
Take it off his hands

With shiny white skin
Hatred free and living

The feathers on his hands

The vulture has returned
Smooth black feathers on her head
She will come back for more

And I’ve seen vulture wings before
